Eucharistic Ministers
Assist with the distribution of the consecrated bread and wine at the liturgy. COMMITMENT: Serve a minimum of once per month and arrive 15 minutes before Mass begins. Training required. For more information, please contact Jill at: jbeyer@saintjosephparish.org
Hospitality Ministers
Greet people as they arrive for liturgy; provide outside assistance if needed; distribute liturgy guides; help seat people; take collection. Must arrive 20-30 minutes before liturgy begins. Sacristans
Prepare for the Eucharist, and clean up afterward. COMMITMENT: Serve minimum of once per month. Must arrive 20 minutes before liturgy begins. Training provided. For more information, contact Jill at: jbeyer@saintjosephparish.org
Table Setters
Prepare the table (altar) for Holy Communion. This can be done individually or as a family. COMMITMENT: Serve once each month. Training provided. For more information, contact Jill at: jbeyer@saintjosephparish.org
Lectors
Proclaim the appointed readings and general intercessions during the liturgy. COMMITMENT: Must read and pray the Sunday scriptures during the week so the readings are familiar. Serve a minimum of once every other month. Must arrive 20 minutes before liturgy begins and attend periodic in-services to review and update this ministry. Training required. Altar Servers
Open to boys and girls 4th grade and older. Assist priest during liturgy. COMMITMENT: Serve and average of once per month. Training required. For more information, contact Fr. Jim at: frjim@saintjosephparish.org
Children's Liturgy Facilitators
Lead the elementary children’s Liturgy of the Word which takes place during the 10:00 Liturgy. Serve once per month. Training provided. For more information, contact Barb at: bmauthe@saintjosephparish.org
Mass Linen Cleaners
Clean the linens from Mass. Training will be provided. COMMITMENT: One week a month. For more information, contact Barb at: bmauthe@saintjosephparish.org
Welcoming Ministers
